Treriksröset, or the Three-Country Cairn, marks the point where Norway, Sweden, and Finland converge — once also the border with Russia. The concrete monument, built in 1926, is the world’s northernmost border point shared by three nations.
The site is a popular destination for adventurers and nature lovers. It can be reached by hiking and boat in summer, or by snowmobile and skis in winter. Our hotel reception is happy to assist with directions and travel information, whether you go by car or public transport.
