The Vasa Museum

One of Sweden’s most visited museums, or perhaps the most visited, is the Vasa Museum. The battleship Vasa sank during its maiden voyage in 1628 and was salvaged in 1961. Since then, the vessel has been restored almost to its former glory and consists of more than 95% original parts. Visit this magnificent ship and learn about life on board in olden days.
