In many ways First Hotel Kolding is also the ’Literary hotel’: That is, our neighbour is Kolding Library with whom we work closely together with. For example, we use he library when we arrange conferences, and here we also have our author venues, and other events. Our restaurant, Restaurant Berg, is named after 'the great son' of the city, Christen Berg, and all our rooms are in some way inspired by our passion for literature.

Our amazing conference facilities - seven, bright, beautiful and modern meeting rooms including a stunning view of the castle lake with the old royal castle, Koldinghus, in the background - is a result of an interesting private/public collaboration with Kolding Library, located in the same building as First Hotel Kolding. From our hotel restaurant, Restaurant Berg, you have direct access to the conference rooms at Kolding Library.

We can offer parking in a locked car park below the hotel for DKK 105,- pr. day. The gate to the basement can be opened using a room key card so guests need to check in before accessing the parking area in the basement. From the car park there is an elevator leading directly to the room.
